Lakeville
Ride, March 28 2010
New England weather does this to you ... A week after we rode in balmy 70
degrees, we shivered in a cold, blustery wind at the start of the Lakeville
Ride. Undaunted, about 60 riders headed out around the lakes, woods, and
cranberry bogs, warming up as the sun appeared and the lord god testosterone
led out the front fast lads on this flat ride. I shivered as I shot some
of these photos - that wind off the water was cutting. Recent rains had
filled the lakes to brimming. In fact, there was evidence of recent flooding
in the debris on the side of the roads. But the legs warmed up and the ride
was fast. Got those spring legs working!
