paths in Rhode Island (RI Dept of Transportation - bikeri page)
- excellent source for maps of recommended bike routes and all the bike
paths in Rhode Island, updates on the latest news of construction, and
state bike laws.
- Bike
paths in Massachusetts (MA Highway Dept) - a really crappy web site.
Very difficult to search for maps of MA bike paths (or even a list of
them), but if you dig about long enough you can eventually find some.
Try this incredibly
long URL that may or may not work. We've tried to list below links
to various "friends of" sites that provide a map to one of
the MA bike paths. Also, unlike RI, MA doesn't have a state map showing
recommended bike routes; you're better off buying Rubel's
maps of bike routes in MA. And if anybody knows a good MA state
govt link to maps of all the bike paths in the state please email me....
Not that they have much to boast about; Lord knows when they'll pick
up the baton from RI and move ahead to complete the Blackstone River
Bike Path so we can ride from Providence RI to Worcester MA! If you're
looking for bike paths in MA you might be better trying the link to
the MA Dept of
Conservation & Recreation's list of bike paths in state parks;
it does have some maps.
