Jun 27-28, 2009 - Fidelity Investments MS 150. Cyclists will ride 150 miles over 2 days, to raise awareness about and money for Rhode Islanders with multiple sclerosis Society. Start in Narragansett, RI. Information at www.nationalmssociety.org/rir
Jun 27, 2009 - Tour de Book. Brattleboro, VT. A beautiful, supported 60 mile ride thru the West River Valley of Southern VT. Follows route of the classic Tour of the Valleys Race held for over 20 years. Shorter family routes. $25 entry, $5 for youth. Jul 11, 2009 - The 28th Annual Prouty Century Bike Ride and Challenge Walk. Hanover, New Hampshire. 100, 50, 35 or 20 mile rides through the Connecticut River Valley, to help raise money for cancer research and patient services at Dartmouth's Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Register online

Jul 16, 17 & 18, 2009 - Tour of Northeast Kingdom, Vermont (TONEK). Charles River Wheelmen (CRW). 3-day weekend at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, an athletic facility catering to rowers, runners and cross-country skiers. Cue sheets and GPS routes for all rides. $340 pp for 3 nights, breakfast & dinner; watch Tour de France on big screen TV. Reserve early. Jul 17-19, 2009 - South Royalton Vermont Weekend. Charles River Wheelmen (CRW). Weekend of challenging cycling in beautiful central Vermont. Walking and hiking options for non-bicycling partners. Camp on 52-acre wooded property with large pond available for swimming, hotel and B&B options available. Cost around $30 pp camping. Reserve by June 15. Aug 8, 2009 - Cycling for Cancer Cure. The Deary Memorial Cancer Fund, Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam, CT. 27 miles around the city of Putnam, CT, on some of the most scenic roads in northeastern CT. Also 4 mile children's fun/safety eduction ride. 9:15 AM start, but come early. Start and finish at JD Coopers Restaurant, Putnam. $15 entry fee/$20 day of event, or pledges of $50 to get free registration.
